How much time do you have to contribute to our server? at least 3-4 hours per day. just moved, and have no life at the moment Have you been previously punished by a staff member? I have but i talked to gards about it, and the warn got taken away because it wasn't really deserved Do you have any experience with being staff? Yes. Gateway Gaming: Moderator In what ways will your presence benefit our staff team and server?: - When becoming Staff it is the duty of myself and others to ensure the server is a safe environment for all players along with enforcing the rules and guidelines. Its also my job to build a stronger community then it is now Is there anything in particular that you believe that can be improved within the staff team?: I think we need more experienced staff members that know how to handle things during a staff sitting. Is there anything in particular that you believe that you can help improve?: A few things on the map i would like to improve and how some of the staff handles things and also im very active during school days so i think that would help being staff and being on during school hours trying to get new people in on the server Have you made any previous applications in the past for our server?: No Are you able to be active on the forums?: Yes [u]Scenarios[/u] Show the commands you would use in these situations. (Example: !goto 'name') 1) You are a witnessed a user RDM 4 other players. How would you deal with this user?: - Relying on how much the user has been RDMing or breaking other rules will depend on the punishment that will be required. The rules of engaging in this situation is to firstly teleport (!tp "USER") the user out of sight and away from continuing to harm other players then eventually jailing (!jail "USER") the user to ensure maximum protection from surrounding staff or witnesses along with running away. I will then approach the user at first with ease informing him/her of all the rules and guidelines that were broken at hand also if necessary, to gain knowledge of the situation or how it erupted from witnesses. As mentioned at the beginning depending on how much the user has RDMed will result in either a (!warn "USER" "Reason"), (!kick "USER" "Reason") or (!ban "USER" "MINS/HOURS etc"). Will issue in a 1-3 day ban. 2) You are the only staff member online and there is a Minge inside of the Cadet Training Room. The trainer has reported this Minge in admin chat and you have seen the report. What would you do?: - When confronted by the users I would immediately teleport (!tp "USER") the user who broke the rules and listen to their side of the story attempting to piece the situation together. Each user would be heard and have their say fairly. If the user us restless or tries to avoid the sit I would freeze (!freeze "USER"), jail (!jail "USER") or gag (!gag "USER") if necessary. If the user was found to be breaking rules depending on how bad it was whether it is checking console or screenshot evidence to find out will result in either a (!warn "USER" "Reason"), (!kick "USER" "Reason") or (!ban "USER" "MINS/HOURS etc") If he keeps going after bring kicked. If the user accused was to appear innocent he would then be returned along with the other members involved and will be spectated for at the most 10 minutes in case they attempt to do it again. The same actions would apply as before. 3) A user is asking for staff to read their application. How would you deal with this player?: -First I would ignore him and, if he continues I will (warn "USER" "Reason"). I would also Decline his application 4) There is a player threatening to DDOS the server and other users. What would you do?: - When a user threatens to Ddos the server it may be taken multiple ways, along with each staff member also having different ways to deal with it. A way that can meet in the middle of most is to firstly talk to the person calmly figuring out another solution and preventing the user from Ddosing, however if the user ignores everything you have said it would be best to permanently ban the user then consult a higher staff member, informing them of the matter.
